Netherlands: Business confidence eases but remains in positive territory in June
Business confidence fell to 8.1 in June from May’s 9.9. Consequently, the index remained above the 0-threshold, indicating sustained optimism among businesses, and above the long-run average of 1.0.
The moderation in confidence came on the back of less upbeat views on business expectations and current order books. In addition, attitudes regarding stocks of finished goods worsened as more firms considered their stock levels to be too large.
