Mexico Consumer Confidence February 2021

Mexico: Consumer sentiment stays downbeat in February

The seasonally-adjusted consumer confidence indicator published by the Statistical Institute (INEGI) came in at 38.4 points in February, matching January’s reading.

The reading reflected worse sentiment regarding current personal financial situations and general economic conditions, which was offset by improved sentiment about households’ financial situation over the next year, and a greater willingness to make major purchases.
