Luxembourg: Harmonized consumer prices register biggest fall since May in November
Consumer prices fell a seasonally-adjusted 0.21% in November over the previous month, which was below the 0.03% fall recorded in October. November’s result marked the sharpest fall in prices since July.
Harmonized consumer prices declined 0.7% year-on-year in November, down from October’s 0.4% fall and marking the steepest decline in harmonized consumer prices since May. Moreover, inflation dropped to 0.4% from the previous month’s 0.7%. Accordingly, the trend pointed down mildly, with annual average inflation coming in at 0.9% in November (October: 1.0%).
