Latvia: Industrial production slows in June
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 0.5% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in June, following a 5.9% rise in the previous month. June’s reading was the weakest since March 2025.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in June softened for manufacturing (+5.0% in annual terms vs +7.2% in May) and electricity and gas supply (-29.9% vs +7.2% in May). In contrast, the reading for mining and quarrying improved in June (+13.7% vs +2.2% in May).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production fell 0.8% in June, following a 0.3% increase in the previous month.
