Kazakhstan: Inflation hits over two-year high in July
Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 0.30% from the previous month in July, a smaller increase than June’s 0.40% rise. July’s result marked the softest rise in prices since September 2019.
Inflation inched up to 7.1% in July, from June’s 7.0%. July’s reading represented the highest inflation rate since December 2017. Annual average inflation rose to 6.1% in July (June: 5.9%).
