Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth wanes in October
Industrial output increased 4.2% compared to the same month a year earlier in October, which was a deterioration from September’s 4.7% increase. The result was chiefly driven by weaker manufacturing output. In addition, electricity, water and gas production lost pace. In contrast, mining and quarrying output clocked faster growth.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 2.1% in October (September: +1.2%), which marked an over one-year high.
