Greece: Industrial output notches quickest growth since July 2022 in February
Industrial output rose 5.2% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in February (January: +0.8% yoy). February’s figure marked the best reading since July 2022.
Looking at the details of the release, electricity supply output and water supply output fell at a softer rate. That said, manufacturing production softened in February.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rebounded notably, rising 4.8% in February (January: -1.0% mom), the best result since March 2022. Meanwhile, annual average growth of industrial production was 2.4% in February, matching January’s result.
