Greece: Industrial output growth dips in June
Industrial output expanded 8.8% year-on-year in June, which was a deterioration from May’s 14.1% increase. June’s slowdown was largely driven by weaker manufacturing output. Meanwhile, water supply production contracted over the prior month in June.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output slid 1.0% in June, softening from May’s 5.1% tumble. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at plus 5.2%, up from May’s 4.1%.
