Ghana: Inflation comes in at highest level since August 2017 in November

Consumer prices increased a seasonally-adjusted 1.42% in November over the previous month, accelerating from the 0.61% rise seen in October. November's figure marked the highest reading since July.

Inflation rose to 12.3% in November from October’s 11.0%. November's reading represented the highest inflation rate since August 2017. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 9.8% in November (October: 9.6%).

FocusEconomics panelists see inflation averaging 9.5% in 2022, which is up 0.2 percentage points from last month’s projection, and 8.4% in 2023.
