Ghana: Inflation drops in January
Consumer prices rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.93% from the previous month in January, picking up slightly from the 0.90% increase logged in December 2020. January’s result primarily reflected faster price growth for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Inflation declined to 9.9% in January from 10.4% in December. Meanwhile, annual average inflation came in at 10.1% in January, up from 9.9% in the previous month.
