Germany: Business confidence improves but remains in negative territory in April
Business sentiment rose to 91.8 in April from March’s 90.8. Despite the uptick, the index remained below the 100-threshold, pointing to prevalent pessimism among businesses.
The rise was mainly due to less downbeat views on expectations, while views on the current economic situation improved marginally.
