Denmark: Manufacturing production falls in April
Latest reading: Manufacturing production was down 1.1% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in April, following 8.3% growth in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in April softened for non-durable consumer goods (-1.0% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs +9.4% in March), investment goods (+1.0% vs +7.8% in March) and intermediate goods (-1.1% vs +4.2% in March).
On a seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis, manufacturing production rose 13.1% in April, following a 21.1% rise in the prior month.
