Denmark Business Confidence December 2021

Denmark: Business confidence stable in December

January 5, 2022

Business confidence was stable at November’s 6.0 in December. As such, the index remained comfortably above the 0-point threshold, and indicated optimism among businesses.

December’s result was due to more optimistic production expectations and more upbeat views on stocks of finished goods, which were offset by pessimistic views over order backlog.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment to increase 3.1% in 2022, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast, and 2.3% in 2023.
