Czech Republic: Economy expands in Q1
The economy expanded 0.1% in seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter terms in Q1, contrasting Q4’s 0.4% decrease. Meanwhile, output decreased 0.2% on a seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis in Q1, swinging from the 0.3% expansion recorded in Q4.
According to a press release, external demand supported year-on-year growth, while falling final consumption and capital formation had a negative impact.
