Cyprus: Industrial output softens in August
Industrial production rose 3.7% year-on-year in August, down slightly from July’s revised 4.2% increase (previously reported: +4.1% year-on-year). August’s moderation was largely driven by slowing manufacturing output and a larger contraction of the mining and quarrying sector compared to July.
Meanwhile, the annual average growth in industrial production ticked down to 4.4% in August from 4.5% in July.
