Colombia: Consumer confidence improves in June
Latest reading: The Fedesarrollo consumer confidence index increased to 24.3 in June, following May’s 17.8. The latest reading was above the threshold of 0 that separates optimistic from pessimistic sentiment and the highest since November 2014.
In June, households grew more positive about their economic situation and country’s general condition compared to a year ago (+13.8 vs +4.4 in May) and their economic situation and the country’s general economic condition in the coming 12-month period (+31.4 vs +26.7 in May).
