China: Consumer inflation holds stable in February; producer inflation dips
Consumer prices rose 0.60% in February over the previous month, picking up from the 0.40% increase logged in January. February’s figure was the highest reading since October 2021.
Consumer inflation came in at 0.9% in February, unchanged from January’s figure. The annual average variation of consumer prices rose to 1.1% in February (January: 1.0%). Lastly, producer price inflation fell to 8.8% in February, from January’s 9.1%.
