Chile: Business confidence decreases in April
Business confidence came in at 44.1 in April, down from March’s 46.3. As a result, the index remained below the 50-point threshold separating pessimism from optimism among consumers.
April’s reading was driven by more pessimistic sentiment in the retail, construction and industrial sectors, while mining sector sentiment improved.
