Bulgaria: Industrial output growth loses pace in June
Industrial output grew 9.7% compared to the same month a year earlier in June, which followed May’s 16.4% increase. Looking at the subsectors, manufacturing output growth slowed in June, while mining production also moderated.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell at a more moderate pace of 0.1% in June (May: -1.4% mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 2.0% in June (May: +0.5%), signaling an improving trend in the sector.
