Belarus: Inflation comes in at highest level in nearly eight years in July
Consumer prices rose 0.50% over the previous month in July, a smaller increase than the 1.13% rise recorded in June. July’s result marked the weakest reading since August 2021.
Inflation came in at 18.1% in July, which was up from June’s 17.6%. July’s result marked the highest inflation rate since November 2014. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with annual average inflation coming in at 13.1% in July (June: 12.4%).
