Belarus: Inflation moderates in May
Consumer prices dipped 0.1% in May over the last month, contrasting April’s 0.6% increase. The negative print reflected falling prices for food and services.
Inflation eased to 4.9% in May, down from 5.4% in April, which had marked the highest reading since August 2019. Meanwhile, annual average inflation edged down to 5.2% from 5.3% a month prior.
