Turkey: Business confidence reaches near three-year high in March
Business confidence in Turkey rose to a near three-year high 110.8 in March from 109.3 in February. Moreover, the index moved further north of the 100-threshold, as optimism among businesses grew.
The improvement in the headline reading came on the back of rosier views on expected output, export orders and employment in the next three months. Moreover, views on the current amount of stocks of finished goods and capital expenditure improved. On the other hand, attitudes regarding the current general business situation and amount of orders in the past three month softened.
