Slovenia: Industrial output expands at fastest pace since February 2020 in January
Industrial output increased 1.3% in year-on-year terms in January, which contrasted December’s -0.8% decrease. January’s figure marked the best result since February 2020. The figure was largely driven by a notable rebound in manufacturing production.
On a monthly basis, factory output rose 1.6% in seasonally-adjusted terms in January, contrasting December’s 0.7% fall. Meanwhile, the trend improved modestly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 5.7% in January, up from December’s minus 6.0% reading.
