Slovenia: Industrial output bounces back in March
Industrial production expanded 2.8% year-on-year in March (February: -1.1% yoy). The turnaround was partly driven by faster growth in manufacturing output. In addition, mining and quarrying production improved.
On a monthly basis, industrial production increased 3.8% in seasonally-adjusted terms in March, contrasting February’s 8.0% fall and marking the best result since July 2020. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 9.8% in March (February: +10.6%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
