Slovenia: Decline in industrial activity softens in October
Industrial output declined 1.0% in October (September: -3.3% yoy). October’s reading marked the best result since February. The softer drop largely reflected more moderate falls in manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rebounded, rising 3.1% in October (September: flat reading). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 5.7%, down from September’s minus 5.4%.
