The Slovak economy continues to grow at a solid pace. According to preliminary data released by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on 14 November, the economy expanded 3.3% annually in Q3, moderating from the previous quarter’s 3.7% growth. In the same period, total employment increased 2.3% over Q3 2016.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP growth slowed from a 0.9% expansion in Q2 to a still-strong 0.8% increase in Q3. More detailed data will be released on 5 December.
