Romania: Industrial output grows in February
Industrial output increased 0.6% compared to the same month a year earlier in February, following January’s 0.4%. The upturn largely reflected growth in manufacturing that offset contractions in mining and quarrying and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 1.0% in February (January: +1.8% mom). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 7.5% in February (January: +7.4%).
