Poland: Industrial output growth slides to six-month low in April
Industrial production expanded 13.0% year-on-year in April (March: +17.3% yoy). April’s notable downturn was largely driven by decelerating mining and quarrying and manufacturing output.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 2.1% in April (March: +2.1% mom), the worst result since April 2020. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 8.5% in April (March: +17.2%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
