Lithuania: Inflation edges up in February
Consumer prices rose 0.22% on a monthly basis in February, easing from the 0.49% rise in January. The figure reading was mainly driven by flatlining prices for food, housing and recreation.
Inflation increased to 0.6% in February from January´s 0.3%. Meanwhile, annual average inflation fell to 0.8% in February (January: 1.0%). Lastly, harmonized inflation came in at 0.4% in February, following the 0.2% annual rise in harmonized prices in the month prior.
