Kazakhstan: Industrial production soars to a near-two-year high in August
Industrial production grew 6.9% on an annual basis in August, marking the highest reading in 23-months (July: +3.2% year-on-year). A breakdown of industrial activities revealed that standout output growth in manufacturing and mining, coupled with a rebound in water supply, drove the monthly acceleration.
Annual average growth in industrial production logged 3.2% in August, up from July’s 2.8%.
