Kazakhstan: Industrial output notches quickest growth since April 2020 in March
Industrial output rose 4.0% in March (February: +0.2% yoy), marking the best result since April 2020. March’s notable upturn was largely driven by an upturn in manufacturing and electricity, water and gas output. Moreover, mining output fell at a softer pace amid easing OPEC+ oil production cuts.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 2.2% in March, down from February’s minus 2.0%.
