Italy Consumer Confidence November 2021

Italy: Consumer confidence moderates in November

November 26, 2021

Consumer confidence fell to 117.5 in November from October's 118.4. However, the index was still relatively high.

The fall came on the back of a deterioration in consumers' assessments of both the future and economic climate components. In addition, their sentiment regarding the personal component also ebbed. In contrast, consumers were more positive regarding the current climate.

Panelists project private consumption to increase 5.4% in 2022, which is unchanged from last month’s forecast. For 2023, panelists see private consumption growing 2.2%.
