Guatemala: Inflation jumps in November
December 10, 2019
Consumer prices rose 0.44% month-on-month in November, down from the 0.70% increase in October. The print was driven by a steep rise in prices for recreation while housing, food, and transport also became costlier.
Inflation, meanwhile, jumped to 2.9% in November from 2.2% in October; however, annual average inflation was stable at October’s 3.6% in November.
