Denmark: Consumer confidence increases in June

The consumer confidence indicator developed by Statistics Denmark (DST) increased from 3.2 points in May to 4.4 points in June.
June’s reading reflected consumers’ more positive perceptions of the current economic situation in Denmark compared to a year ago. Consumers’ expectations for the economy in the next 12 months also improved. Moreover, they were more optimistic regarding their current and future financial situations. Conversely, households were more concerned about the unemployment level in the next 12 months.
