Denmark: Business sentiment in the industrial sector weakens slightly in December

Business confidence among firms in the industrial sector slipped to minus 7 in December from minus 6 points in November, according to a survey conducted by Denmark’s Statistical Institute. Turning to other sectors, sentiment among the construction, and retail sectors ticked down, while sentiment among the service sector improved in December.FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment to fall 2.0% in 2020, which is down 0.2 percentage points from last month’s forecast, and to expand 2.2% again in 2021.
