Cyprus Inflation November 2021

Cyprus: Inflation remains stable in November

December 2, 2021

Consumer prices rose 0.54% in November, cooling from the 0.73% increase in October. The softer rise in prices was largely attributed to notably softer price pressures for clothing and footwear, as well as for housing and utilities.

Inflation was stable at October’s 4.3% in November. Meanwhile, the annual average variation of consumer prices came in at 1.9% in November from 1.5% in October. Lastly, harmonized inflation rose to 4.7% in November from 4.4% in October.

FocusEconomics panelists project harmonized inflation to average 1.4% in 2022, which is up 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast and 1.4% in 2023.
