Colombia: Manufacturing activity growth deteriorates in June
Manufacturing output grew 12.3% in year-on-year terms in June, which followed May’s 46.1% increase. The reading was partly driven by a slowdown in production of beverages, which expanded at the slowest pace since October 2021. In addition, manufacturing of refined petroleum products lost steam.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of manufacturing production coming in at 16.5% in June, down from May’s 17.1%.
