Industrial production growth decelerated to 1.3% year-on-year in December, down from November’s 3.1% expansion.
Looking at 2018 as a whole, annual average industrial production grew 5.7%, below 2017’s 6.1%. The weaker print reflected decelerating manufacturing and mining gains. In contrast, the utilities supply accelerated compared to the year before.
