Wool Price Outlook

Prices for wool fell in recent weeks, mainly due to weaker demand prospects, likely the result of Covid-19 outbreaks in Asia weighing on buyer sentiment. On 10 September, wool traded at AUD 1,361 cents per kilogram, which was down 1.4% from the same day last month. However, the price was 16.2% higher on a year-to-date basis and was up 52.9% from the same day last year.
