Wool Price OutlookWool prices strengthened markedly over the past month, on the back of higher Chinese demand for all types, and restrained supply in auction markets. On 6 November, wool traded at AUD 1,188 cents per kilogram, which was 19.3% higher than on the same day last month. That said, the price was down 23.7% on a year-to-date basis and was 24.3% lower than on the same day last year.
