Slovakia: Industrial output growth accelerates further in November
Industrial production expanded 6.2% year-on-year in November, above October’s 5.4% growth. The increase was mainly due to an expansion in manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products and chemical products, which was partially offset by a contraction in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products.
After seasonal adjustment, industrial production grew 1.0% in monthly terms after October’s 1.4% increase.
As a result of November’s expansion, annual average growth in industrial output edged up from 4.5% in October to 4.7% in November.
