Hungary: Industrial production growth moderates again in November
January 8, 2020
Industrial production grew a working-day-adjusted 5.7% year-on-year in November, down from October’s 6.4%, according to a first estimate by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. November’s easing largely reflected waning production in the manufacture of transport equipment.
In seasonally- and working-day-adjusted terms, industrial output decreased 1.0% month-on-month in November, following the 0.4% contraction logged in October. Lastly, annual average growth in industrial production rose from 6.1% in October to 6.3% in November.
