Germany: Business confidence in February hits highest reading since June 2022 but remains pessimistic
Business confidence came in at 91.1 in February, up from January’s 90.1. February’s result marked the strongest sentiment since June 2022.
The improvement in February was driven by firms in all sectors becoming less pessimistic about future business conditions and firms in all sectors—bar manufacturing—becoming less pessimistic about current business conditions.
