Australia: Business confidence jumps in January
The business confidence index produced by National Australia Bank (NAB) jumped to 10.0 points in January from 4.7 points in December. Therefore, the index moved further above the zero-point threshold that signals that Australian businesses are mostly optimistic regarding economic conditions going forward.
On the other hand, business conditions weakened in January although they remained in positive territory.
