Exchange Rate in Russia
The Russian Ruble experienced significant volatility over the last decade, but has generally been on a depreciatory trend as a result of increasing international isolation and the imposition of multiple rounds of Western sanctions. The exchange rate ended 2022 at 73.00 RUB per USD, compared to the end-2021 value of 75.01 RUB per USD and the figure a decade earlier of 32.86 RUB per USD.
