Poland: Inflation hits six-month high in March
According to a preliminary estimate, consumer prices increased 1.00% in March over the previous month, picking up from the 0.50% increase recorded in February and largely reflecting higher prices for fuels for personal transport equipment.
Inflation rose to 3.2% in March, following February’s 2.4% and marking a six-month high. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 3.0% in March (February: 3.1%).
