Magdalena Preshlenova

Magdalena Preshlenova is an Economist with over three years of experience in macroeconomic research and data analysis. She serves as the regional economist for ASEAN, Central America and the Caribbean, and agricultural commodities. Magdalena holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in International Business from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Prior to joining FocusEconomics, she worked across the private, public and non-profit sectors, with a focus on research, fundraising, and project management. Her interests include emerging markets, institutional development, and geopolitical risk. Outside of work, Magdalena enjoys painting, cooking and spending time in nature.
