GDP in Honduras
Honduras - GDPEconomic growth seems to have accelerated in the fourth quarter, as reflected by economic activity in October–November trending noticeably above the average reading observed in the third quarter. Robust expansions in the transport and storage, manufacturing, and financial sectors boosted the Q4 reading. However, the external sector likely continued to drag on the economy as reflected by the trade deficit widening by nearly a fifth over a year ago in November. This came on the heels of a drop in outbound shipments of coffee, palm oil and shrimp while imports of raw materials, capital goods, fuel and consumer goods rose healthily.
