Sweden: Industrial production slows in September
Latest reading: Industrial production—excluding energy—increased 3.9% in a calendar and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in September, following 6.0% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in September worsened for manufacturing (+4.2% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs +5.7% in August) and mining (-3.2% vs +3.6% in August).
On a working day adjusted year-on-year basis, industrial production was up 15.5% in September, following a 10.6% increase in the prior month.
