Sweden: Economic sentiment picks up in October
The economic tendency indicator came in at 96.3 in October, up from September’s 94.5. October’s result marked the best performance since February. Readings above 100 indicate stronger economic growth than normal, while readings below 100 indicate weaker economic growth than normal.
The continued improvement in October was broad-based, with the consumer confidence sub-indicator rising to 90.0 from 88.4 in September, and the business confidence sub-indicator rising to 95.7 in October from 93.8 in the prior month.
