Slovenia: Industrial sector loses traction in December
Industrial production growth slowed to 1.0% year-on-year in December, from 1.3% in November. The deceleration reflected a contraction in mining and quarrying output, as well as slower manufacturing activity. On the upside, utilities supply rebounded.
Meanwhile, average annual growth in industrial production logged 2.9% in December, up from November’s 2.5%.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial output fell 1.8% in December after falling 1.1% in the previous month.
